人体のあり方と、その向き合い方が変わっていく昨今、未来ならさらに身体を定義付ける新しいパラメータが出来上がるはず。肉体の拡張を可能にする技術的進歩も重要だが、それ以上に必要なのは自身の肉体への扱いを変える新しい社会的ルールセット。
身体はその手で形作れる魂の容器になるのか、あるいは自然や群衆から守ってくれる聖域になるのか、社会的にどのようなモノになりうるか。
"Future Corpus" envisions a future where completely new
parameters define the human body. Although the future brings
with it technological advancements that may allow physical
augmentation, it more crucially enables the development
of social advancements that expand the imagination
for what our bodies could potentially be,
as malleable vessels for our souls or
as sanctuaries from nature
and society.
